Whew! I have updated my 'recent players' list on Monday Madness!! I've also created a couple Memorial Day patches, and a Michigan patch for my Friendship Wall, and another mug for my Mug Collection. If you're interested in joining any of the sites I've mentioned, just click on my link/s above. There will be a 'join' link on there. Also, since tomorrow is June 1st, you might be looking for a blinkie calendar. I have 5 different ones to offer you if you're interested. Just click here. Maybe I'll make more tonight.
I was telling my mom about the email I received a few days ago and she told me why this person said what they did. As you may know, my screen name is Otto, but my real name is Natalie. Well, this person was at my Friendship Wall and must have thought I was a guy. Oh my! It never ocurred to me that some people may think I'm a guy and to see my sites must think I have a very strong feminine side. Oh well.....even so; I don't think it was very nice of them to say what they did. I say 'to each his/her own!'
Now for my own Monday Madness answers...
1. What was the name of the last movie you watched (dvd, vhs, theatre, or tv)? Le Divorce, but I fell asleep watching it last night so I don't really know if it was any good. Maybe I'll try to finish watching it tonight.
2. What were you doing on the internet before coming here?
Updating my 'Monday Madness' participants list.
3. What color of pen do you usually write with?
At work, black; at home, any color I find.
4. Who was the last person you talked to on the phone?
5. When is your birthday? (month and day)
6. How organized is your computer desk?
At the moment, quite organized!
7. How many calendars do you have in your house?
I have 4; a desk calendar on my computer desk, a wall calendar on my wall, a home-made calendar (by my mom) on my bulletin board, and my daughter has a calendar in her room.
8. Do you clip coupons and use them when doing your grocery shopping?
Not as much as I used to, but that is one of the things I'm trying to get back in the swing of doing.
9. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Definitely night owl! I only get up early in the morning because my kid has to go to school and I have a job I must keep!
10. Did you enjoy your weekend?
Oh yes. It was an extra long one too!
I'm all blogged out now.......I shall call it a night! =)

Found this over at Andrea's and just had to play too! =)

I haven't been on here in a couple of days and as you can plainly see, I haven't completed any of the challenges I mentioned in the previous post. I HAVE, however, managed to make a complete set of zodiac blinkies and create two more June blinkie calendars if you're interested. I spent a whole evening working on those (believe it or not!) =) Sometimes I'm just not in the mood to blog, you know?
Why do people take the time to send a nasty email to a complete stranger? Do they have nothing better to do? I think it's possible that they're miserable and may want company.....what do you think?
In honor of Memorial Day, I have a four-day weekend starting tomorrow. I WILL be sleeping in at least two of those four days! And I WILL be spending some time on this computer, weather permitting. If we have a sun-shiny day, I can assure you I will be outside enjoying it. I hope you all have a great Friday! Enjoy the sun! =)

I've just finished visiting all (I think; I hope!) the blogs on my blogroll and I think I left a comment on all of them letting them know I was there.......Tomorrow I will go visit my 'More Reads' list and do the same! AND hopefully visit my MM players and let them know how much I appreciate their participation. Oh yeah, and I had planned to post my photo for Photo Time last night, but didn't do that, so I will definitely follow through on that tomorrow as well. And just one more thing; I'll be answering a couple of the latest questions from Random Questions tomorrow, along with a couple of other memes I enjoy participating in.
It's time to answer my Monday Madness questions for this week!
1. I started blogging about 2 years ago.
2. I try to post a new entry in my blog about every single day.
3. I read about 20 blogs on a regular basis.
4. I change my layout about 4 to 6 times a year.
5. I used to play games on the computer, and now I blog instead.
6. I spend more time blogging than I do ironing, cleaning the house, doing dishes, and watching tv.
7. I tend to blog (and visit blogs) most in the weee hours of the morning (like right now.).
8. The thing I enjoy most about blogging is staying in contact with some of my family and it has brought out some creativity in me (I think!).
So that's that! I will soon be snoozing and before I know it, my alarm will be waking me up again....Have a peaceful evening!

I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes! I had a very relaxing day and I enjoyed every bit of it!
I did a blogmaze yesterday and it sure was fun! Also, my blog was listed as one of the three to begin the blogmaze with! Isn't that exciting! See, they've got three blogs listed to begin with and you choose one to visit. You say something nice about that blog and you choose one of the blogs on their blogroll list to visit, etc. etc. Here is where I began....
so very posh; Lovely layout and interesting read. This led me to...confetti falling; A fellow Michigan blogger! and some very informative links! This led me to...arcadian expressions; Nice clean blog with great writing skills. This led me to...cassie-b; One of my regular reads, and has a link to a very interesting story; where does a dollar go? This led me to...pretty purple princess; Very interesting 'rules for work' here.
That was fun! It's Sunday evening, it's raining, it's pouring. It's beginning to sound like a broken record around here; which means so am I, so enough of that!
Hey, I hope y'all enjoyed your weekend, whatever the weather was where you're at. Believe me, I've got enough to keep me busy no matter if the sun is shining or not. Now hop on over to Monday Madness, will ya?? =)
Saturday, May 22, 2004
I'm not doing ANY work today; for it is a special day. (Yeah, I'm tootin' my own horn!) I want to thank my Mom for posting the photos of me (and my sisters) when I was still kinda cute! That was a LONG time ago! Thanks, Mom!
I pray that we don't get the rain they've predicted for today. We have had enough! Makes for a good day to stay inside and play on the computer though. Either way, I'll enjoy my day, and I hope you enjoy yours as well!! =)

I want to say farewell to one of my bloggin' buddies, Isabella.
We will miss you, girl! =(
I had a really weird, sad dream last night. I don't even WANT to know why. What do you think of your dreams and why you have them? Some dreams make no sense to me at all and some seem to have a 'meaning' behind them. Any thoughts??

The painting job is done! Thank goodness! It was a much bigger project than any of us imagined but the woman that we were painting for made it well worth our while. It was such a good feeling to leave that house today knowing we were not going back tomorrow! It was also a good feeling to look around knowing what a HUGE difference the paint made to her place. And she was very grateful; that makes it worthwhile too.
I'm going to attempt this week's question at Monday Madness, which I am realizing may have been more than what people really wanted to take the time to do. Shirl had a great idea. She gave herself 5 minutes to answer. Next time (if there is a next time) I will have you give yourself a time limit. It's not so overwhelming then.
Ok, here goes.......(I will give myself 5 minutes.) List words from this phrase:
MONDAY MADNESS ROCKS (or does it????)
~mad ~rock ~sock ~day ~darn ~more ~soar ~soak ~dress ~yarn ~corn ~moan ~score ~core ~dress ~mess ~yes ~mock ~dock ~may ~say ~sad ~mend ~send ~dad ~mom ~road ~nor ~sadness
Time's up! That's all I could think of in 5 minutes. Oh well. It's getting late and I should be getting off the computer. I'm looking forward to the weekend, as I have NOTHING planned!
I'm just going to answer these couple of questions from Random Questions and then I'm going to bed....
Monday, May 17: This is International Pickle Week! What is your favorite kind of pickle? Have you ever been "in a pickle?"
I'd have to say my favorite pickle is the kosher dill, but WAIT! My sister Windy cans some delicious pickles! (What do you call those, Windy??) I think the only kind I don't really like are the plain old dill ones. Too sour.
Tuesday, May 18: How mobile are you? If the perfect job opportunity came up but it was in a different state, or country, would you be able to accept the job?
How mobile am I?? Or is the question really how mobile do I WANT to BE??? I'm very mobile really. Yes, I COULD move to another state or country to accept a position, but at this point, I think I've found my 'comfort zone.' I'm not as adventurous as some in my family, namely my sister Jan. I like familiarity and as long as things are working for me and I'm happy, I don't want to make such a big change.
P.S. (at 1:20 a.m.) I just HAD to share my results from Bubble Magick; link found over at Karen's blog....very interesting!! Here are my results...
The Bubble you have chosen indicates your strong sense of integrity and sincerity. Perhaps you're looking for a trustworthy and helpful friend to enter your life. Wearing objects of this color will help to draw this type of individual to you.
To enhance loyal friendships, carry something this color in your left pocket.
Being drawn to this color can also indicate problems of the heart... an emotional sadness, or in some cases, an actual heart condition. Wearing white clothing and articles of pastel pink can help both of these situations. Also, pay a visit to the Angel Doorway Healing Room.
Individuals who carry this color in their aura tend to be honest and sympathetic in nature. When the going gets tough, you can count on the Teal Green individuals to stick by you.
For real now. Goodnight!!
Monday, May 17, 2004
Well here it is Monday and we're not done painting yet. *big, big sigh* Of course she's added a couple of ceilings to our 'to paint' list. Next time I'm coming up with a more resasonable price for the job. She's really getting the best end of the deal. I've had trouble falling asleep these past few nights. I don't know why; sleep usually comes very easy for me. Last night I spent a couple of hours creating my page for Mugs-R-Us, a project Lulu started, and I just had to join!
The other day when we were taking one of our breaks from painting, we were talking about all the dumb drivers out on the road and highways, and how scarey it really is when you think about it because us smart people have to pay extra close attention to what is happening around us. I mean we have to pay close attention anyway, but they just make driving on the roads more of a challenge (and a risk) than I'd like. Anyway, I came up with a great solution to all the frustration we smart drivers experience when we put our lives at risk by driving with the dummies. (For instance, this morning I almost got rear-ended by a big truck because I guess he couldn't see that I was stopped behind a van in front of me that was trying to turn left.) What do you think about this idea? Everyone would be required to take an IQ test before renewing their driver's license and depending on what your test scores are, will determine which lane of the road you will be required to drive in. They'd have to have at least three lanes going both ways though because the REALLY dumb ones would be driving in the slowest lane, the mid-range people would be driving in the middle lane and the extra smart people (like you and me!) would get to drive in the fast lane. When the police pull people over, they would now ask them to see their driver's license, registration, proof of insurance, and their IQ score. (I'm bad!) =)
Hey, if you feel like a little challenge today, hop on over to Monday Madness! I think it involves more thinking than most people care to take on on a Monday because I don't see too many people participating. BUT, if not, I understand. Ok, I'm off to do some things around my house that I've neglected for a few days and then it's off to FINISH the paint job!! Y'all have a great Monday!

To my sister Shar, may your day be blessed with happiness!
This one's for you!!
Saturday, May 15, 2004
It is May 15th; tomorrow is my sister Sharba's birthday. Happy Birthday, Shar!!! I'll be painting all day so I don't know if I'll get a chance to come on here and share this special news later...(hey, go send her some birthday wishes!!) In 7 days I'll be one year older (how weird does that sound???) I like my age though. In my family we don't dwell on age; we have fun and we enjoy every bit of what we can. Just ask my Mom how old SHE is!! My parents are very young at heart and I think that's what really counts. They've been retired for several years now and some may think they are busier now than ever; minus the 'raising kids' part of course. But it keeps them young and it keeps them happy. Isn't that what it's all about?? Anyway, I wanted to take this time to wish my sister #2 a very happy and blessed day on Sunday!!! So Shar, I hope you have a great day!!! We all celebrate this day with you!
On another note; You'd think I would be tired right now. I started my day out (after taking the kid to school) cleaning 2 houses. I had about a half hour to kill before picking up the kid from school so I came home and checked my email, blog, etc. and left to get her. I dropped her off at home and headed out to a friend's house to begin painting. She lives in a double wide trailer and it's all paneling inside. This means one coat of primer and two coats of paint are required. By 11:15 p.m. we had one coat of primer on the living room walls and one coat of paint on the ceiling in the living room and kitchen. We still have to put primer on the walls in the spare bedroom and the hallway, put two coats of paint on everything, and paint the cupboards in the kitchen. I want to believe this can be accomplished by tomorrow night so I can enjoy the beautiful weather we're supposed to have on Sunday, but I do try to live in reality sometimes.......and reality tells me that we may just be taking a trip back over there on Sunday to finish up. When it's all done it is going to look so nice though. She's also getting new appliances, a new couch and recliner, new carpet and a new floor in the kitchen. Anyway, I'm not tired in the least and I know I have to get some rest tonight. What to do? Maybe I'll grab my book and read in bed. That always makes me sleepy. The first thing I must do is wrap this up and say goodnight! SO, goodnight all and enjoy your weekend!! It's cooled down a lot since this morning and I'm SO happy!! I love cool nights and warm (not hot) days! We may just get to enjoy actual spring-like weather the next couple of days! Woo hoo!! AND my parents finally get to go open up the cabin for summer! (PLEASE let the weathermen be right this time!!!) Until next time.......
JUST one more thing...Bryn has not been able to publish a post these past few days and is getting very discouraged. (I don't blame her!) But please Bryn, hang in there; don't give up! Go send her some encouraging words, ok? That's all folks! I'm signing off now.... =)

Ok Blog*Spot; get your act together!!! Don't you know we can't live without our blogs???
On a different matter...whoever voted for Amber to win the 2nd million, raise your hand. Now SLAP it!! From what I heard this afternoon, Amber and Rupert were the top 2 possibilities for the 2nd million. WHY on earth would you vote for her?? I mean really. I actually said that if she wins another million I will stop watching 'Survivor' altogether. Voting was closed as of midnight last night so all we can do is hope that the Rup got enough votes to win...we shall soon find out. Until then I am off to a dinner at my boss's house (don't really wanna go!) It's one of those 'unwritten rules' type things, you know? You just know you better go or else, AND I have an evaluation coming up next month so need I say more?
Y'all have a good evening and hopefully I'll get to those memes I want to answer later.

So much for the new and 'improved' blogger, eh? I just added something to my template and had to click on 'save changes' a dozen times before I got a message saying it was saved successfully. NOW I have to republish my blog in order for the changes to appear and I've clicked on 'publish blog' more times than I care to count and all I get is a 'page cannot be displayed' message. Way to go, Blogger!! Anyone else have problems?
(a few minutes later) I see my changes but I still never got a message that told me I was successful at republishing my blog....so I guess all is well. Sorry for the whining! I think I'm going to get my photo up now....see ya in a bit! =)
As promised.....this week's Monday Madness:
1. If you had a farm, what would you name the following animals: Pig, Cow, Goose, Chicken and Horse (assume these are show animals and not food.)
Cow: Don't know; Bessie???
2. What are the top ten spices you use in cooking and what is cooked with them as the main spice (ie. Oregano: Spaghetti)
Salt: almost everything
Pepper: almost everything
Chili Powder: Enchilada Sauce
Cumin: Spanish Rice
(I'll have to get back with you on the other 4; I'm not the world's greatest cook.)
3. Name your favorite flower and describe yourself using the letters.
Not so smart that I picked this flower!!
I'll do the Tuesday memes tomorrow. Oh yes, I must post a question for What's On ... Right Now?. I'm planning on submitting my photo for Photo Time tomorrow as well. This week's theme is 'simplicity.' I like it!
I finally completed the one project that was weighing on my shoulders for the past few days; prayer cards for the bishop's family. And I'm done working on the logo for the family reunion t-shirts I'm doing for someone. Now I just have to get it approved and get busy ironing!! It's a big relief though, let me tell you. The hard part is done now! Whew! Oh yeah, I think there's still time to vote for one of the survivors for the 2nd million dollar reward. If you feel so inclined, just go to cbs.com and submit your vote. If you need some help in who to vote for, I'd be happy to suggest a worthy person...Rupert. Just a suggestion. Ok, time for sleep! Oh, and we don't need any more rain right now, so pray for the rain to pass by us. We have way too much flooding already. Goodnight! Sleep tight! Don't let the bedbugs bite! =)
I just have one question; Have you ever seen your blog listed at 'Blogs of Note' on the main Blog*Spot screen??? And I wonder where they come up with the list.......g'night!
Tuesday, May 11, 2004
CAUTION!!! If you haven't viewed this week's final episode of 'Survivor' yet, please stop reading now!
That was the most disappointing series I've seen yet! The only 2 people I didn't want to end up in the final two were the 2 that did. Then Amber has the nerve to ask us to vote for her for the second million because 'Two is better than one!' Greedy thing!! I must say though, I'm also disappointed in the rest of the players; they allowed those two to run the whole show all the way through. I don't know about you, but I want Rupert to win the next million. Yes, I actually voted... Did you? If not, and you want to, just go to cbs.com and cast your vote for the person you think deserves a million bucks. I respect Tina for saying she didn't need nor WANT the million because 'Survivor' has already awarded her a million dollars, and to vote for someone we think will put the money to good use. Poor Jerri; she's not even in the running because she chose not to participate in the voting. I couldn't believe she actually sat there crying about how they paid a price for our entertainment. Did someone force her to go on either show?? I think she went willingly and if she didn't get it the first time, then for sure she should have grasped the concept by the second series that this is a game and yes, your feelings and emotions will be toyed with but you CHOSE to be on the show! (I think she's a dimwit.)
I got a lot done today (on my day off) but the time went way too fast. Tomorrow I will be visiting all my participants for Monday Madness; and I'll answer the questions then as well. Goodnight! =)
Oh, just one more thing........

Happy Mother's Day to everyone!! I hope you take this opportunity to pamper yourself, relax, let someone else make breakfast, and enjoy the day! This one is for my Mom....
I found this at Bryn's

First of all, I just read on the 'Blog*Spot' homepage that it will be down for a couple hours on Sunday beginning at 3:00 p.m. PST. (I had to write that down so I'd remember too.)
In honor of Mother's Day, I wanted to share a couple of things I received in my email...(We love ya, guys, but ya gotta admit these are cute!)
One day my housework-challenged husband decided to wash his sweatshirt. Seconds after he stepped into the laundry room, he shouted to me, "What setting do I use on the washing machine?" "It depends," I replied. "What does it say on your shirt?" He yelled back, "University of Oklahoma." And they say blondes are dumb...
A man and his wife, now in their 60's, were celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. On their special day a good fairy came to them and said that because they had been such a devoted couple she would grant each of them a very special wish. The wife wished for a trip around the world with her husband. Whoosh! Immediately she had airline/cruise
tickets in her hands. The man wished for a female companion 30 years younger... Whoosh... immediately he turned
ninety!!! Gotta love that fairy!
A Woman's Perfect Breakfast:
* She's sitting at the table with her gourmet coffee.
* Her son is on the cover of the Wheaties box.
* Her daughter is on the cover of Business Week.
* Her boyfriend is on the cover of Playgirl.
* And her husband is on the back of the milk carton
It's thundering and lightening, raining and pouring here, but that's ok because I plan to spend the day indoors anyway. I have a lot to catch up on! Enjoy your weekend!! =)

The card party is over; thank goodness. It's very difficult to take on a church fundraiser after the same person ran it for years. The former chairperson decided way back in the fall of 2003 that she no longer wanted to chair the card party. Our secretary put an announcement in the bulletin inviting any interested persons to come forward if they were willing to be the new chairperson. After about 3 months (and many people coming up to me asking if I would consider taking it) I gave in and agreed to do it. All seemed well until this week and the cat fights began! I might as well have put a sign on my back that said 'Treat me like a dog and please while your'e at it, abuse me with nasty comments and please don't hold anything back! I wanna hear it all!' I was near tears (ok, in tears) at one point last night and walked out of the room, through the kitchen (where 2 of the biggest troublemakers were), and said, "I am so sick and tired of all this criticism; if someone else thinks they can do a better job, then have at it!" I just sat in the back of the church for awhile, even though I seriously considered leaving. I knew I had to walk back into the card party and smile and act like everything was great so I put my 'happy face' on and got back out there. I won't go into any detail but there was some things that I and a few others had decided to change; mind you, we had a meeting a few months ago to discuss the details and invited every parishioner to attend and share their ideas; 6 people showed up at the meeting. I had no idea that making a few minor changes in how things were ran would create so many hard feelings. Instead of pulling together and trying to make this thing a success, the former chairperson decided to make life as close to a living hell for me as possible. She ALMOST succeeded; I was going to give up chairing any event at our church. But you know me; I'll hang in there.......The only thing that made this worthwhile was those few women that came up to me and thanked me for doing such a great job and that they'd be back next year. Hearing that made up for all the crap I took from the wenches that tried to discourage me. (Let's hope the former chairperson gets over her little hysterics before then; OR decides not to help out.) Oh, and we profited about 200 dollars more than they did last year. That was really comforting too, especially considering we gave away $200; something that's not been done in the past. Anyway, it's over now and the next big shindig is the fall bazaar. Even though it's a lot more work, no one bothers me anymore about how it's run.
I missed 'Survivor' last night and forgot to set my vcr to tape it so I asked my Dad if he'd tape it for me; I don't know that I'll get over there to pick up the tape before Sunday so I may just miss it altogether...*sigh* Have a great Friday and an excellent weekend, my friends! I hope to be able to spend some quality time on my computer this weekend. I have lots I want to do! Until next time....... =)
Wednesday, May 05, 2004
We just lost our power long enough to lose everything on the computer (yeah, I had a couple of links I was going to add here tonight; I'll find them again...) and have to reset everything in the house; you know, the microwave clock, the vcr, the answering machine, etc. etc. (wah, wah). We had a brief thunderstorm complete with lightening and I was on the phone when the power went out. I've heard it can be dangerous to be on a cordless phone during a lightening storm because you could actually get hit by lightening...is this true?
We've been preparing for our annual Spring Card Party at my church this week; it's Thursday evening at 6:30 if you wanna come! (I'm in charge so I'll be sure to give you extra chicken salad and lotsa desserts!!!) Anyway, things are coming along as planned. It makes for a busy week, but it's nothing compared to the preparation for the bazaar! The lady that used to be in charge decided she didn't want to do it anymore so I volunteered. I'm glad I did. We set up tables for 200 people (our parish hall holds 150; ooops!) and we HOPE to fill the place up!! Wish us luck, eh?
Ok, now for a couple memes I've been meaning to do since last week! (Of course the questions are different now.) Here goes...
This one from one of my own; Monday Madness...
1. Do you collect anything? I started collecting snowmen a few years ago and I kind of collect angels but I'm not very good at it because I'm not really a fanatic about it. I used to collect dolls when I was a kid. I don't know what happened to that collection.
2. How many items do you have in your collection?
I have probably 25-30 snowmen that I put out before Christmas and leave them until March or so (when I think it should be spring!) Angels; only about 8 right now, but I don't collect a certain 'kind' of angels so when I see something I like, I buy it.
3. What is the most unusual piece in your collection? I don't really have any unusual pieces really; I have cool ones though. I have a snowman tealight music box that has a little mirror on it and this little snowman skates around the 'ice' when the music plays.
4. Is there anything you don't collect that you would like to collect? I'd be cheating if I said money because I saw a few people say that already; excellent answer by the way. No, I don't wish to collect anything more right now.
Now for some Random Questions...
This is "Be Kind to Animals Week." How many pets do you have?
I have 2 cats; Kringle and Callie. Kringle can be such a little wench, and Callie is very shy. They are both really cool cats though with personalities all their own. Gotta love 'em!!
Ok, it's TV Tuesday time!!
1. Who is/was your favorite TV mom?
I really like the Mom on '8 Simple Rules.' She is such a far cry from Peggy Bundy from 'Married with Children.' She's a good Mom and I think her kids respect her. (I'm sure I'll think of someone else once I post this but that's the first one that came to mind.)
2. Was she a realistic mother, or more of a TV fantasy type?
I think she's very realistic.
3. Which TV mom did you find the most unrealistic? Or if you'd rather: creepy, sappy, mean; you choose the adjective, and you name the mom.
Well, Carol Brady was pretty prim and proper and as I look back, a tad bit annoying....(a tad???) In my opinion, very unrealistic too. I mean get real! We're going to merge 2 families, and the Mom and Dad are going to act as if the others' kids mean just as much to them as their own? (Sorry; been there....stepkids can be a real challenge!)
~Bonus~ No disrespect to your dear old mum, but which TV mom did you think it might be neat to have as your own?
I know my Mom won't take any offense to this; Samantha from 'Bewitched!' How cool would it be to have a mom just wiggle her nose and get things done???
And for this week's Tuesday Iffers...
If you could be invisible for a day what would you do and why?
I would just enjoy a day out in public; with my camera! Would my camera be invisible too? No special places I'd want to be really, I just think it would be neat to not be seen by anyone.
One I haven't done in ages (and it's my own too!!)...What's On Right Now?...
What's On your 'favorite games' list Right Now?
I like playing 'Uno' and 'SkipBo' because you can still visit with the people while you're playing the game. We recently played 'Loaded Questions' with my sister and brother in law and that one's fun too. I used to play backgammon a lot too, but haven't played it in years!
And last but not least, Lulu's Lines...(Sorry I missed it last week, Lulu!!)
I could manage.....to function quite well on 6 hours of sleep; maybe even 5, but 4?? NO Way!!! I had 4 hours of sleep last night because I was cutting out flowers and butterflies for our card party and I didn't get to bed until after 2. NOT a good way to start a day!! Aren't you glad you don't work with me??? =)
Wow! I don't have to blog until Saturday now! Hey, have a great day/evening/morning....whatever time it is where you're at and I'll be seeing you soon!

Happy Sunday to you! It's been a busy couple of days, but in a good way. Last night I tried to watch 'Trading Spaces: Home Free' and I stayed awake until about 15 minutes to the end of the show and fell asleep. I still don't know who got their mortgage paid off! Well the program started at 1:00 a.m. so yeah, I was a bit tired; I shouldn't have laid down though. Does anyone know who won? Well it's off to church I go. At least we didn't get the snow/rain mix they thought we might get last night. Have a great day! =)
Found this at Carol's the other day and I thought it'd be kind of interesting to see what I come up with....if you feel so inclined, copy this (the stuff in bold), erase my answers and add it to your blog! Here goes....
I am: a mother.
I think: about some things more than I should.
I know: this is not going to be easy.
I want: to start our house project yesterday!
I have: trouble believing in myself at times.
I wish: I could let some things go more easily.
I hate: people who like to play mind games with others.
I miss: my daughter when she stays away overnight.
I fear: there's too many fools on the road to ever be comfortable with my daughter driving.
I feel: happiness is a choice we make ourselves.
I hear: birds chirping outside.
I smell: a tangerine mango candle burning.
I crave: coffee in the morning.
I search: for a lot of stuff on google.
I wonder: what people think about me way more than I should.
I pretend: things don't bother me when they do.
I regret: waiting so long to just be 'me.'
I love: my family.
I long: for there to be less obstacles in life sometimes.
I care: about a lot of people more than they might know.
I always: try to look at the bright side of things.
I am not: the world's greatest cook!
I believe: in honesty.
I promise: things only when I know I can follow through.
I dance: horribly, but sometimes I do it just to get a reaction from my kid.
I sing: just as horribly, but I still enjoy it.
I cry: more than I used to when I was younger; things seem to touch me more easily.
I am not always: the nicest person I should be but I try.
I fight: only when I believe strongly that I am right (and I don't mean physical fights.)
I write: what's on my mind then read it and think it sounds stupid. (As a result, lots of my thoughts go unread...)
I try: to be the best parent I know how to be.
I never: want to hurt anyone I love.
I confuse: myself when I analyze things too much.
I listen: to 106.3 at work; a very mellow radio station.
I can usually be found: on my computer after the evening news.
I hide: my old coins I've collected through the years.
I am scared: of mice! (At least spiders I will kill with a shoe.)
I need: to organize my time more wisely.
I expect: a lot from myself.
I should: be working on a project for my boss right now.
I still: look forward to weekends even though I know it's kind of like wishing time away.
I already: feel like I've revealed too much about myself.
So, are you game??? If you decide to participate in this yourself, let me know; I'd love to read your answers!
