Ok, I've started (or AM going to start) a list of 'Things that make me go...HMMMMMMM.' Now I have my first one; why do half of my images show a white box with a red x in it???? Hmmmmmm. No, I'm not direct linking to someone else's images. I PAY for pbase and some of my images show; some don't. I'm not real happy about it either. I hate when I see all those dreaded white boxes with red x's in them!

So much for vacation; I went to work this morning at 8:00 a.m. and just got home. I thought I'd be able to get everything done in this 4 hours but I see I'll be going back tomorrow. All I did was write checks and run reports for the other church I do bookkeeping for. MY stuff has to wait. Oh well; it's still kind of nice to be able to go in when I want and leave when I want.

We have another new member for our Friendship Wall!! Whoo hoo! Y'all are invited to join; it's really quite fun! No strict rules there; just create a page of your own where you can start building your 'friendship wall' with your own tiles (or patches; whichever name you'd prefer to call them) and other members' adoptables and watch it grow! You'll receive a member tile that you add to your wall and then make available to other members at least one adoptable tile. You go around adopting tiles from others and that's all there is to it! (That reminds me; I really should create some more adoptables; gotta add that to my 'to do' list.)

I guess that's it for now. Aren't ya glad I'm on vacation? I don't think I've blogged this much in ages!! Enjoy your day!

Oooh! Gotta love the ability to block IP adresses on Bravenet! Yup! Some witless 'no life' came and filled out an email form (that I forgot I even HAD); not once, but 3 times; with all nasty answers. Well guess what, person with the IP address 63.144.66.238, you will no longer be able to participate in any of MY bravenet forms!! Hah! Thank you, Bravenet!!! (Are there really people in this world who have nothing better to do????)

Now for my Monday Madness; questions this week were suggested to me by none other than my daughter, who by the way, if she ever kept up her blog, I would share her link here, but she doesn't so I won't!! (If you read this Alex, HINT! HINT!) Ok, on to the questions.......
1. List three words to describe yourself. Energetic ~ Optimistic ~ Caring
2. List three words to describe your job. Religious ~ Enjoyable ~ Interesting
3. List three words to describe your computer. Essential ~ Powerful ~ Fun

I shall leave you with a quote to ponder; goodnight to all!
"Faith is believing when it is beyond the power of reason to believe." ~Voltaire

I'm making a new 'to do' list.......here 'tis! (Well, besides the obvious; like cleaning and work and all that necessary stuff!)
~make more blinkies; a couple New Year's ones
~make more blinkie racks
~make more adoptables; don't know exactly what yet
~add to my homepage; some links
~clean up my 'participants' list on MM
~continue organizing my cd's and floppies that aren't labeled
~update my 'memes' blog (or get rid of it)

That should just about do it! Let's just see how many of those things I'll actually accomplish. I'm taking the kid to get her hair cut in a bit but I'll be back to answer Monday Madness when we return.......I was thinking about going in to work today but maybe tomorrow morning would be better. I feel like NOT working today! Have a great day!

You will not believe what I have to tell you right now. Do you wanna know how DUMB I am??? *feeling quite embarrased* I couldn't, for the life of me, figure out WHY my yahoo mailbox was using up 64% of the space when all I had in my inbox was a few emails. I regularly empty my bulk and my trash folders. Well I recently sent an email and I got a message from Yahoo stating that although my message was sent, it could not be saved in my 'sent' folder because I didn't have enough space. So this got me curious....I opened up my 'sent' folder and guess how many messages I had sitting in there?? You wanna guess or you want me to tell you? *drumroll please* 344!!!! NO WONDER I was using 64% of my space! I deleted them all and now I only have 4% of my space used. These messages have been sitting there since at least February, 2003. Is this something everyone already knows except me? And how is it that I missed this bit of info??? (I'm not telling my kid; she'll laugh at me.) Is there any other 'secrets' that I should know about? I mean, I've been using email for years now and I consider myself a fairly intelligent person.............hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

(Now you may laugh if you must.)

In just about an hour and a half I will be at my parent's house enjoying our annual family Christmas gathering. I think I have everything done and ready to go! I'm thankful for the sunshine this morning! I hope the drive for my 3 sisters who live out of town is on dry roads! Tomorrow our snow may melt; it's supposed to be 45 degrees and rainy. Well we got our snow for Christmas and we sure enjoyed it!

Well, I'm off to take a shower and get my kid up so she can be ready by the time we need to leave.....have a great weekend, everyone!!!

We had a very white Christmas. It started snowing around 7:30 Christmas Eve and I think it continued to snow all night. By Christmas morning we had 4 inches of snow. I planned on going to my parent's house but since the weather people changed their winter weather advisory to a warning and switched the time from noon to 6:00 p.m. I thought it best to just stay home. As it turns out, we didn't get much snow after noon but you can never really be sure. Friday is supposed to be sunny and by Saturday, 39 degrees. I'm thankful for that since we will celebrate Christmas with my family (minus my youngest sister who lives in California; but we'll be thinking of you Jan!) and I am such a wimp driving in the snow. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas day! Let us not forget that the Christmas season lasts for another couple of weeks!

In case you didn't have a white Christmas, I'm happy to share my snow with you!! Here's what it looked like on Christmas morning!

I know I said I was going to be getting more sleep but I'm just so excited that I am now officially off from work for a week!! I'm treating myself to a late night of blogging, etc. and as long as I don't have to get up and go to work in the morning, I think I'm going to stay up late and sleep in until 8. (We'll see.)

Today is Christmas Eve and it looks like we may not have a white Christmas afterall. It rained most of yesterday and today. It's trying to snow right now but the flakes are very big and very wet. This is ok with me; it's my daughter that seems to be very bothered by the whole 'rain on Christmas' thing. She wants snow. We still have 24 hours.........(almost)

Here's a bit of Monday Madness on Wednesday.
Each of the questions below begin with 'How much would YOU pay for'..........
1. a pair of dress shoes: $30.00 (but I don't wear them as much as I used to. I have 'old' feet now.)
2. a pair of jeans: $30.00 (but I'd prefer to pay a lot less.)
3. a pound of ground round: $1.99 (?)
4. a music cd: I've paid $16.99 for a cd but I like when they're on sale for $11.99 or less.
5. a computer: I'm not sure I have a 'limit' but I think $1500.00 is reasonable.
6. a loaf of bread: $1.69
7. a dvd movie: Not more than $19.99
8. an ironing board: Last time I bought one I think I paid $20.00 for it.
9. a hair cut: I haven't paid for a hair cut in ages! I cut my own hair. I think I do a pretty good job; for free!
10. a magazine: I haven't bought a magazine off the racks in ages either. I pay $16.99 for my subscription to PC Photo. That's the only magazine I am currently subscribing to.

Merry Christmas to everyone!! I hope you all have a blessed one!

So is 'upsaid' down for good or what?? Well you can go visit wanda here. She used to be at 'upsaid' but I guess they're having major problems........if anyone else from upsaid has a new site, please leave your url here in the comments, ok?

Time for some random questions! Then off to bed!

Thursday, December 18: What's your favorite holiday treat to bake or eat?
Oooh. I love my Mom's chex mix and Shar's spinach dip. Oh and her fudge! Oh yeah! Windy makes some really great bread and cookies, and Sister4 makes really delicious candy! What do I make? Do you think I HAVE to make anything? I mean, look at all the goodies we get to enjoy. Ok, I don't make anything, but I really enjoy all the stuff my family makes.

Wednesday, December 17: Do you recycle?
Yes, of course I recycle; whatever I can! You know they have their rules though so ya gotta be careful of what you put in your recycle bin. It's so easy to just throw stuff in the recycle bin instead of the trash, so why not??

Monday, December 15: What is your favorite snack to enjoy while watching a good movie on television?
Hmmmm. Usually I try not to snack on anything but sometimes I make popcorn. But it's usually not a movie on tv; it's on dvd. No commercials!!

So it's that time again. Time to call it a night. I got most of the stuff done that I set out to do today, so I'm pretty pleased. Until tomorrow..........sweet dreams!

It's not blogger this time; it's upsaid. I see all the people on my blogroll that have upsaid blogs cannot be displayed. Let's hope these people get their blogs back soon!! On another note: They say you can't catch up on sleep. Well, I believe that but the lack of sleep DOES catch up to you! I've had the busiest 4 days than I've had in a very long time; in addition to my regular work schedule, I've managed to clean 6 houses, finish printing Christmas cards for St. John's, finish (I hope) my Christmas shopping, and still remain relatively sane (again, I hope!). I have only one more house to clean before Christmas (well, besides my own) and that I will do tomorrow when I get out of work. But wait! After church last night this friend of mine who has had back problems for a long time, came up to me and asked me if I was 'getting enough hours.' Instead of saying something smart like, "Yeah, more than enough," I said, "Why?" She asked me if I would be willing to help her clean her house before Christmas Eve because she's having her whole family over that evening. I told her I'd call her. Should I? Shouldn't I? I think I'll feel bad if I don't help her but on the other hand, where should I draw the line? Obviously if it was family, I wouldn't even hesitate to say yes. I guess I'll have to think about that one. Maybe it'll depend on how much work I get done here at home today. Oh, so back to the sleep thing: I was functioning on anywhere from 3 to 5 hours of sleep for most of this past week, and by Thursday night, it finally caught up to me. I went to bed before midnight and it felt so good! Friday night I got about 7 hours of sleep and last night, 7. I feel so rested now! I guess one of my 'New Year's resolutions' is going to be to make an effort to get more sleep. (Mom, did you hear that?) We cannot fight it; our bodies usually give us some kind of indication that we need to slow down, and I'm not waiting until I start feeling sick to take the hint! So yeah, I'm starting my resolution early this year. I can only accomplish so much in a 24-hour period and that's all there is to it. I know I could cut down on the time I spend on my computer and maybe I'll have to put some thought into that. But it makes me happy to visit other blogs and to make graphics and stuff. We'll see........ For now I must tackle the clothes in my room that need to be put away and ironed and start wrapping gifts. I hope you all enjoy your Sunday!! P.S. Starting Wednesday at noon, I get a whole week off from cleaning houses! AND a whole week off from work! (This one's for you, Jan: WHOO HOOO!) I'm sure you've all heard this one before, but wanted to share it anyway. "Hindsight is always 20/20." ~Billy Wilder

About 'Survivor' now; I am SO glad Jon didn't get to the final two; although I'm sure he wouldn't have had a chance to win anyway. I'm also happy that Sandra won. I thought she was really a down-to-earth person. No guessing what THAT woman was thinking! I would have liked to see Rupert go further but I guess as I look back it doesn't surprise me that they booted him when they did. I understand he'll be in the next series though. What's it called? 'Survivor All Stars' or something like that? That oughta be interesting. February 1!! Write that in your calendars!

Almost Tuesday but I'm doin' the Monday Madness!
For the following 10 items, name the color that, in your opinion, best describes it.
1. your mood: purple
2. your personality: red
3. your job (or your past job) OR your school: bronze
4. your home: evergreen
5. your imagination: I hope it's very colorful; maybe orange and yellow.
6. nature: I always think green when I think of nature.
7. your name: My real name (not Otto); blue; a deep rich blue ~ Otto: silver
8. wealth: green (I guess for the color of money)
9. the perfect car: black; with tinted windows!
10. good health: white

So that's that. All is well on the homefront. I'm not quite ready for this week and what it's bringing along with it but I am in the process of mentally preparing myself for what is yet to come. One more relaxing evening; then I will be up to my eyeballs in cleaning products for the next 6 days!! Well worth it though; for more reasons than one.

Thanks Mom, for the wonderful Christmas train you made for me! I love it!!

Another series of 'Survivor' is ended. That's all I'll say. I will respect those who live in a different part of the world than I. I'll post my thoughts tomorrow folks. Another weekend almost gone. What DID I do? Well my house is presentable, it looks like Christmas around here and I'm happy. Oh, the kid is happy too. Life is good. How about a quote to ponder........"It often takes more courage to change one's opinion than to stick to it." ~G.C. Lichtenberg

I watched Trading Spaces for the first time tonight. What an interesting show! I saw the episode where the one designer re-does the whole room in cardboard. Yes, all walls and the ceiling. Oh, she even purchased cardboard furniture! Have you seen it? She's really 'out there.' I have to feel sorry for her really. The couple that was helping with that room was really uncomfortable with it too. I don't know how often this woman does the decorating for this show, but I would have to guess that this was probably her most 'unique' idea. When the couple who owned the house walked in and opened their eyes the husband didn't say much; the wife was obviously not pleased. The room that was designed by Frank (I think his name is) turned out great! He likes to use paper to decorate things and I was quite impressed with his ideas. This couple was very pleased with their new look. You'd think the people running this show would put some limits on what these designers can and cannot do. I'll tell you what; just from what I saw Hilda (or whatever her name is) did with that cardboard, I wouldn't let her in my utility room! There was another episode aired an hour later which I also watched and this time they had Frank and some other woman doing the redecorating. They both did a great job I thought. It's amazing what some people can do with $1000 and 48 hours. Unbelievable! So Shar, thanks for recommending that show. I'll probably be watching it again.

Well I have officially started my Christmas shopping and I expect to finish it early next week; Monday I hope. It's so close to Christmas now that if you venture out there any later in the week you're doing it at your own risk. Too many people!

I finished making my Christmas cards and I'll be putting them in the mail Monday. Yay!! I think I'm ready for Christmas. I KNOW I'm ready to have a week off after! Next week will be one of the busiest weeks I've had in a long time but I know it'll be well worth it for a week off. I think I'll go in though and do a bit of work but I can go in anytime I want. I'm really looking forward to it. Hope everyone is enjoying your weekend!

Whoo Hooo! I got it! I grabbed a javascript calendar code from javascript source and I added my own background. Ta da. The cool thing about this calendar is that the current date is highlighted. Now mind you, my blinkie calendars, I've made all from scratch; dates, boxes, blinks, everything. But I couldn't ever make the current date be highlighted. So this is just another version of what I do; just that you get to see the date highlighted. Of course I'll be giving javascript source credit for the code, but the background is mine. It's pretty cool. If you want to see my first one, go here. I shouldn't have spent that much time on doing this today seeing how I have so many other things that NEED to be done, but it was fun and I'm happy with the results.

Yesterday we had our staff Christmas party. I always dread these things even though I like most of the people I work with. It's just that we see each other every day and when we plan something like this I feel like it's invading my 'personal time.' You know? But it wasn't bad. My boss always makes it fun. We ate cornish hens, baked potatoes and salad. The worse thing was that I was sitting here on the computer at about 4:00 p.m. (after not being home all day) and the phone rang. It was my boss. Something triggered in my mind and I looked at the clock and said, "Oh my gosh! We have a party in two hours!" Now that's not such a big deal but I still had to shower (cuz I cleaned houses earlier), make my potatoes (heck, I had to BUY potatoes!), and cart my kid halfway across town to her friend's house; all in two hours. I had really planned on making some kind of cool potatoes but I decided to just throw a few in the oven instead. I made it to the party just 5 minutes late and I was home by 9:30 p.m. Now the weekend is mine. Yeah!

Well, I'm off to finish making my Christmas cards so I can get those sent out before Christmas........Oh, and get my photo submitted for this week's photo time! The theme this week is 'hobbies or games.' I have lots of those so shouldn't be too hard to get a pic up! Have a great Saturday!

Countdown.............to 'Survivor!' 8 minutes from now, the next-to-the-last episode of this season's 'Survivor' will begin and this show BETTER start improving! I cannot believe how long Jon has stayed on despite his lying, manipulating, lying, back-stabbing, lying . . . . did I mention lying??? He's a weasel and he's proud of it. (I wonder what his mother thinks of him when she sees this show...) If those girls were smart, they'd have taken advantage of the fact that there were FIVE of them against 3 at one time. They could have picked off the guys one-by-one. But no; Sandra and Crysta decided to actually believe what Jon was telling them even though they'd both heard him tell probably every other person on the island the exact same thing. DUMB, dumb, dumb. Ok, now we're down to 2 minutes. I'll be laying in my favorite spot in front of the television, wrapped up in my 2 afghans watching. Where will YOU be?? So, keep your fingers crossed that Jon goes tonight. I would love to see that little weasel's smile turn upside down!

Why oh why is it when I want to blog, blogger is down??? Well it's up now (as you can see.) I just got back from picking up my daughter from across town and there were three stoplights on my way there. At each one, I saw at least two cars run a red light. I see more people running red lights now than I can ever remember. And we wonder why there are so many accidents??? Gee, I can't wait 'til the snow starts falling... Oh yeah, another thing I really love is when the car behind you could hop on your trunk and hitch a ride, they're so close! Gosh, if I had to stop on a dime they'd ram me in the back-end. Oh, while I'm on a roll here, might as well mention the bright headlights that people seem to be using more and more these days and not caring how many cars are coming toward them. Talk about blinding! I thought these fools had to take a test before getting/renewing their driver's license! Let's remember this; it is a privilege to drive, not a sport! (Reminds me; gotta get a 'pet peeves' list up somewhere on this blog.)

On a totally different note: my boss had to have another 'talk' with one of my co-workers again today. I always dread those things because we get to suffer from the after effects.........I'm not sure how she (my co-worker) ever kept a job and I'm racking my BRAIN trying to figure out what she's doing still working where she is! She's incompetent all the way around. She's definitely a hindrance to the place and every time I write a payroll check for her I feel like saying, "Merry Christmas! Another bonus!!" But I don't think my boss has it in her to let this woman go. I believe she feels sorry for her and is afraid if she lets her go she won't be able to find a job. Plus she needs the medical insurance. Well, my dear boss, that cannot be the problem of the parish. We do give to charity, yes; but this is ridiculous!! Not braggin' here, but I earn less than she does and I'm usually working my butt off trying to finish up everything that needs to be done in any given week. She has time to take NAPS!! Well, I like my job and I'm glad I have plenty to keep me busy; so I must let go of the problem; 'tis not mine!

Gotta go make some brownies! I shall be back!

Time for a little Monday Madness.............
On a scale from one to ten.........
1. How proficient are you in typing?
Oh I'd have to say a 9. I probably should be a 10 since my job depends on typing as one of the things I do a LOT! But I cannot tell a lie. A 9 it is.
2. How well-organized are you? I feel I'm pretty organized but not as much as I'd like. 8. Yeah.
3. How adventurous are you? 1. No, not boring, but not adventurous.
4. How cool is the outfit that you're wearing right now? Ha! 0! Big 0000!!!
5. How well do you sing in the shower? 0 again. Can't sing!
6. How cool do your kids think you are? 1. Right now she thinks I'm the biggest geek. Well, that's what she leads me to believe anyway. I'm thinking when she gets older, she'll feel about me the way we feel about my mother. She's cool!! She's a 10 definitely!
7. How well do you manage your money? 9. Yup I have learned how to manage my money quite well...
8. How efficient are you when it comes to meeting deadlines? 9 (or maybe 10) but because I have no choice. I have to meet deadlines or I wouldn't have my job.
9. How much do you like winter? 1
10. How big of a 'pack-rat' are you?1 (or 0.) Can't be a pack-rat if you have no room to save and store!

Oh what a busy day! But it all happened on the first day of the week, which means I don't have another busy day until Friday. Sure, gotta go to work and actually, I have quite a bit to do there, but not much going on besides that. Yay! We went looking for a winter coat for the kid; no luck. I may be willing to go back out tomorrow. The stores are still pretty quiet on Tuesdays this time of year, but after that, forget it. We will just have to find something!

I have my Christmas decorations up and my little tree is up too. It turned into a cleaning project as well. I mean how can you haul all your seasonal stuff out and not get the urge to clean the room/closet they came out of?? (signs of geekness!) But I'm happy I did it and even though it was an all day project, it was fun. I put the radio on to the channel that plays Christmas music and just got into the spirit! Tomorrow I will make my cards and try to get those sent out by the weekend. Cross your fingers!! Ok, time to sign off!

It's done. It's my winter layout. I'm keeping it all winter long because it took way longer than I thought it would. How do people change their layout so often is beyond me. As you can see I stayed up later than I should have. Thank goodness I don't have to get up early tomorrow today. I may still add some little things here and there, and of course I will always be changing it but not THAT drastically in the near future! A HUGE thank you to nothin2do for the info she so willingly shared with me! I've wanted to do something like this for the longest time........ta da! I must really get to bed. Goodnight!

Oh, one more thing....Mom, this one is especially for you! If you're a Betty Boop fan, you just have to check out this page; it's by ~mel. It is SO cool!

If you've seen my 'chatterbox' you'll notice it does not match this blog anymore.......why? Because I'm almost ready to post my NEW layout!! But I have a question; please someone tell me, if I change the whole template and insert all new codes, do I lose all my past entries? I'm working on my new layout in another blog and when it's done I want to just copy and paste the code here. So if anyone knows, please share! Thanks. Now I have to go but I still plan to reach my goal of getting that up here before I go to bed tonight. Most of this day I laid around; felt dizzy, nauseous, headache, etc. But (cross your fingers!) I feel much better now. I'm not letting that nasty bug get me again!! I'll see ya later!

I finally have my 26 Things II up! It was a fun project. Of course I had to call my 'tech support' (that would be my mother this time) to help me remember how to ftp it up to my domain!! (woe is me!) Somehow all the necessary files and folders got uploaded to different places........go figure! Anyhow, it is up and you may take a look. Hope you enjoy! Oh my other little project is coming along quite nicely; very time-consuming but what isn't?? I can't wait to put it up here!! *geeky grin* I LOVE learning new things!

I really really want to put my Christmas decorations out this weekend. I have lots of snowmen things and other stuff and I'm realizing that there is only 19 days until Christmas! Woo hoo! Tomorrow I have to bring the snack for after Mass. Once a month we have someone bring a snack on Saturdays and coffee and donuts on Sundays so people can kind of mingle with each other and stay connected. It's quite a nice idea actually. AND it seems we've lost more liturgical ministers so me and my kid are on the schedule almost every single week. I don't get it really. If people are going to church anyway, why can't they serve wine or be a hospitality minister or something? It's not hard; it doesn't require any extra time; it's a service; it's a service we all should be more willing to offer. Well, gotta go work on something now. Goodnight and sweet dreams to you!

said    at 11:55 PM

So I took my Mom's advice and decided to put 'be happy' at the top of my to-do list. But I kept the '26 Things II' project as the second priority. I've got all my pictures now; I just have to upload them to my gallery and post the link. This will be happening tomorrow afternoon. Anybody know how long we were given to post our links? I'd say I'm doing pretty good if it's within the first week. Oh, you just gotta check out my Mom's '26 Things II'! She's got some beautiful photos! What an arteeest she is!

I've been working on another little project too, which you'll see when I get it all done. I think that's my problem; I usually have three or four things going on that I really want to do, can't seem to decide which one I want done more, so I try to work on them simultaneously. Can you relate?

Another thing (that I won't get into right now); How about that 'Survivor?' Isn't it just the most frustrating series yet? (I will respect those of you who may not have had a chance to view the most recent episode and I will do my 'griping' tomorrow.) Can't ya just wait????

I found this quiz at Bryn's and I really wanted to see my results so here it is. Very interesting...

you are deepskyblue
#00BFFF

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is very high - you are all about getting things done. The world may think you work too hard but you have a lot to show for it, and it keeps you going. You shouldn't be afraid to lead people, because if you're doing it, it'll be done right.

Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation.

I thought I'd better put this in writing for me (here and on paper!) I have a new 'to do' list and it goes like this..............
~get the last 2 pictures for '26 Things' and post them
~enter all remaining contribution info in computer for work
~make Christmas cards for us
~make Christmas cards for work
~finish up my graphics for my new 'winter' layout
~work on new layout
~work on list for pictorial directory; due Dec 10
~update whatever pages need updating
~make some holiday blinkies
~be happy!

Those are pretty much in order of priority. I got lots to do before too long and I think I'll get started on that list right now! (If only I could keep myself away from my computer longer...) Good day to all!

I'm doing the Monday Madness on Tuesday.........geesh! Why can't I ever be on time???? (and it's my own meme too!) Here goes:
1. How many memes do you participate in regularly?
Well, this one and Photo Time for sure. Oh, and Random Questions... and Lulu's Lines too. Other than that, it's hit or miss for me. I guess that's four; not so bad, eh?

2. How do you decide which memes you participate in?
Don't think me bad but the one that has over 500 participants every week I don't do. (I'm witchy like that.) I do ones whose owners I know and love and then whatever may suit my fancy after that.

3. Do you run one of your own meme? If so, please leave your link! If not, have you thought of running your own?
Yeah, Monday Madness!

4. Is there a certain day of the week that works better for you to answer memes than others?
I don't think so. I never can tell when I might answer the questions. It might be a Monday meme or a Tuesday meme and I may answer them on Thursday or Friday; all depends on how busy my life is, you know?

I took the day off today to go clean a friend's house; I mean really thoroughly clean it; right down to washing and waxing the floor and washing all walls. I'm glad I did it. She really appreciated it; I know that cuz she told me so about 10 times after she got home and saw how clean it was. WELL worth the day off! I sure can tell I'm not a 'spring chicken' anymore though. Boy, do my muscles ache!! I'm having trouble winding down for the day but I think I'll call it a night. Goodnight my friends! How about another quote..............."Arriving at one goal is the starting point to another." ~John Dewey
